Accessibility statement

UP TIMER should work for more ways of using the web.

We aim to make the marketing website, UP TIMER and UP Capture clear, keyboard accessible, responsive and usable with commonly used assistive technology.

01 · Our commitment

A usable core experience should not depend on one way of interacting.

UP TIMER brings Focus, Hydrate, Move and Learn into one browser interface. Interval Timer adds an optional repeated training/rest utility, and UP Capture adds a place for notes, ideas, questions, reflections and to-dos. We want people to be able to understand and operate the core experience without relying on a mouse, one screen size, colour alone or audio alone.

Accessibility is part of the product and website design process rather than a one-off launch task. Browser behaviour, third-party services, account journeys and the product itself will continue to change, so accessibility review has to continue with them.

02 · Current approach

We review the experience across input, layout, structure, focus and feedback.

Keyboard operation

Interactive controls should be reachable in a logical order, operable without a mouse where appropriate and accompanied by a visible focus indication.

Responsive layouts and reflow

Pages and product views are designed to adapt from small screens upwards without requiring horizontal page scrolling for the main experience.

Semantic structure and labels

Headings, links, buttons, form labels and native controls are used according to purpose so structure and actions are easier to understand.

Focus and target visibility

Keyboard focus should remain visible and interactive targets should be large enough to operate without unnecessary precision.

Text, contrast and state

Core text uses high-contrast combinations and important status information should not depend on colour alone.

Reduced motion

Motion is kept purposeful and reduced-motion preferences are respected where animation is used.

Multiple alert channels

On-screen timer prompts remain available alongside optional sound, voice and browser-notification behaviour so audio is not the only way to notice an event.

UP Capture controls

Capture fields, item types, planning actions and task controls are part of the same accessibility review as the four timers and account journeys.
WCAG 2.2 AA is the target, not the test result.

A conformance claim would require the relevant complete pages and functionality to meet the applicable Level A and Level AA success criteria. We are not presenting this statement as that claim.

03 · Known limitations

An honest working position, not a blanket claim of full conformance.

Accessibility can be affected by the browser, device, permission settings, third-party services and the specific product journey being used.

  • Browser notification and audio behaviour varies by browser, operating system, permission and power-saving state.
  • Some third-party account, payment or embedded interfaces may have accessibility behaviour outside our direct code control.
  • Very old browsers, unusual zoom or text settings, or combinations of browser and assistive technology may expose issues we have not yet identified.
  • Voice and sound alerts are supplementary. Important timer events also remain visible on screen.
  • New or changed timer, Capture, account or payment interactions can introduce barriers that need to be found and corrected through review and user feedback.

Please report a barrier even when it is not listed here. A specific page, action and description of what happened are more useful than a general accessibility score.

04 · Request assistance

Tell us what stopped working and what would make the task possible.

Email support@uptimer.app when an accessibility barrier prevents you from using a website page, account journey, timer function or UP Capture action.

The page or action

Share the page address or product action and explain where the experience stopped working.

Your setup

Include the device, browser, assistive technology or input method used where relevant.

What would help

Describe an adjustment, alternative route or different presentation that would make the task possible.

Do not send passwords, payment-card details, authentication codes or personal information that is not needed to explain the barrier.

05 · Testing and review

Automated checks can find problems. They cannot establish accessibility on their own.

Our review process includes manual keyboard checks, focus-state inspection, responsive and zoom testing, heading and label review, reduced-motion behaviour, contrast checks and automated tools where useful. Automated tests cover only parts of accessibility requirements and do not replace manual review or feedback from disabled users.

Website, four core timers and Interval Timer Page structure, controls, focus states, responsive layouts, alerts and core Focus, Hydrate, Move, Learn and Interval Timer interactions.
UP Capture Capture entry, item types, planning and task actions, flyouts, lists and the hand-off into Focus where those interactions are used.
Connected journeys Account creation, sign-in, trial activation, payment, Company enquiry and support routes, including third-party interfaces where they are used.
Ongoing changes This statement and the review scope should be revisited as the live website, product, Capture workflow, account system and payment journey change.

06 · Contact and feedback

Accessibility feedback goes directly to the UP TIMER support route.

Please include enough context to reproduce the issue and remove personal information that is not needed. UP TIMER is operated by Spixel Digital.

support@uptimer.app Use the subject “UP TIMER Accessibility” so the report is easy to identify.

Found a barrier?

Tell us where the experience stopped working.

A page or action, device, browser and clear description of the problem give us a practical starting point for investigation.
