The UP Timer product

One screen. Four ways to bring intention back into the day.

UP Timer brings Focus, Hydrate, Move and Learn into one browser workspace. Each timer can be configured and used independently, while persistent acknowledgement alerts help stop useful prompts disappearing unnoticed.

Opening UP Timer does not start the Lite window. Your continuous two-hour daily window begins when you start your first timer.

Focus. Defined work and break cycles.
Hydrate. A visible target with paced reminders.
Move. Prompts to stand, stretch, walk or change position.
Learn. Short learning and recall placed into the day.

One connected workspace

Not four disconnected reminders. One rhythm around the day you actually have.

The four timers do different jobs, so they do not need identical schedules. Set each one around your own working hours, task pattern and priorities, then keep the whole rhythm visible in one place.

This is an illustrative configured day, not a fixed schedule. Use one timer, use all four, or change the timings as your working pattern changes.

Four independently configurable tools

Set each timer around the workday you actually have.

UP Timer does not force every part of the day into one preset routine. Each tool has its own controls, visible status and alert behaviour, while remaining part of the same workspace.

01 / Focus

Focus.

Adjustable work and break cycles without losing sight of the current phase.

Choose the focus duration, short break, long break and number of cycles before a longer pause. The live countdown and current phase remain visible, helping you work inside a defined block rather than letting the session run without an endpoint.

You set
Focus, short-break and long-break durations, cycle pattern and alert sound.
You see
The current phase, countdown, cycle position and next timer state.
At the end
A persistent prompt remains active until you acknowledge the completed focus or break phase.
02 / Hydrate

Hydrate.

A visible personal water target, paced across your selected working hours.

Set a target, cup size, work start and work end. UP Timer calculates a reminder pace, keeps the next prompt visible and lets you add a cup as you go, so the target does not disappear behind the rest of the day.

You set
Target volume, cup size, working window and alert sound.
You see
Progress, cups remaining, reminder pace and the next reminder countdown.
At the prompt
The water reminder waits for acknowledgement instead of sounding once and disappearing.
03 / Move

Move.

A chosen cadence for standing, stretching, walking or changing position.

Choose how often you want a movement prompt, how long the movement window should last and whether UP Timer should select a guided exercise. The next prompt stays visible while you work.

You set
Prompt cadence, exercise duration, movement mode and alert sound.
You see
The next-prompt countdown and selected movement or random exercise mode.
At the prompt
The movement alert remains active until it has been acknowledged.
04 / Learn

Learn.

Short learning and recall blocks that can begin now or be scheduled for later.

Start a Learn Sprint immediately or choose daily times. Select the duration and learning deck, then give one useful idea, practical tip or recall exercise a defined place without beginning a full course.

You set
Immediate or scheduled use, session times, duration, deck and alert sound.
You see
Armed status, the next scheduled session and the active learning card or deck.
At the prompt
The Learn alert waits for acknowledgement before the session is dismissed.

Persistent acknowledgement

A prompt that waits for a response.

Ordinary alerts can sound once, disappear and be forgotten while attention stays on the screen. UP Timer is designed differently. When Focus, Hydrate, Move or Learn reaches its selected point, the on-screen alert remains visible and the chosen sound or male or female voice continues until you acknowledge it.

The purpose is not to record that an action happened. It is to create a conscious moment to drink, move, pause, learn—or deliberately choose not to.

01 A timer reaches its selected point.

The focus phase, water reminder, movement cadence or Learn Sprint becomes due.

02 The alert remains active.

The message stays on screen and the chosen sound or voice continues.

03 You acknowledge it.

The alert clears only after a conscious response.

UP Timer alert Waiting for acknowledgement

Focus session complete

Time to take a break.

Male voice example Focus session complete. Time to take a break.
Acknowledge

Acknowledgement confirms that the prompt has been seen. It does not state or prove that the suggested action was completed.

Built for browser-based work

Your timings. Your voice. Your working rhythm.

UP Timer is designed to remain understandable while you are busy. The current state, next prompt and key settings stay visible, while notifications and audio provide another route back to the timer when attention is elsewhere.

One browser workspace

Focus, Hydrate, Move and Learn sit in the same interface. Use one timer on its own or keep all four visible together.

Desktop notifications

Browser notifications can bring a timer event back into view when the timer is not the active part of the screen. Notification behaviour depends on the permission and settings of the browser and device.

Selected sound or male and female voice alerts

Choose the alert treatment that is easiest for you to notice. Audio permissions and device volume must be enabled for sound or voice playback.

Independent controls

Each timer has its own settings and status. You can configure the parts of the system that matter to you without forcing every timer into the same routine.

Important

UP Timer provides configurable prompts and reminders. It does not guarantee hydration, movement, learning, health or productivity outcomes, and it does not replace professional health or workplace advice.
