UP TIMER · FOCUS

Focus. Give the task in front of you a clear boundary.

Choose how long you want to focus, set the breaks that suit the work and start when you are ready. The current phase and what comes next stay visible, while UP Capture gives unexpected thoughts somewhere to go.

A clear phase. A visible next step.

How Focus works

Set the cycle around the work you actually have.

Choose the timings once, then let the current phase do the remembering while you work.

Set your cycle

Choose the work and break timings

Set the focus duration, short break, long break and the number of cycles before the longer pause.

Follow the phase

Keep the current session visible

Start when you are ready. The timer keeps the remaining time, cycle position and next phase in view while you work.

Move on

Know when the phase has finished

When a focus or break phase reaches its endpoint, the on-screen prompt and selected alert remain active until you acknowledge them.

Configure

Set a cycle that fits the task.

A short task may suit one compact block. Deeper work may need a longer session. You choose the timings; UP TIMER keeps the phase, cycle position and next transition visible.

  • You set Focus, short break, long break and cycles to long break.
  • You see Current phase, remaining time, cycle position and what comes next.
  • You choose Alert sound or male or female voice alerts where supported.

Focus + UP Capture

Stay with the task. Capture the interruption.

A note, idea, question or to-do does not have to become the next thing you work on. Put it into UP Capture, return to Focus, then decide what happens next when you are ready.

Capture. Decide. Plan. Act.

Persistent acknowledgement

The prompt stays until you respond.

When a focus or break phase reaches its endpoint, the on-screen prompt remains active. If a sound or male or female voice alert is selected, it can continue until you acknowledge it.

Acknowledgement means the prompt received a response. It does not confirm that a break was taken or any other outcome was achieved.

Focus. Hydrate. Move. Learn.

Start with the task in front of you.

Set your focus and break timings, give interruptions somewhere to go in UP Capture, and start when you are ready. Lite gives you up to one continuous two-hour window each day, beginning when you start your first timer.
