When Focus, Hydrate, Move or Learn reaches a selected point, the on-screen prompt remains active. If a sound or male or female voice alert is selected, it can continue until you acknowledge it. Acknowledgement means the prompt received a response. It does not confirm that the real-world action was completed.

How it works

Persistent acknowledgement is not about sending more alerts. It is about keeping the selected timer event visible until you respond.
The message remains on screen.
The prompt stays visible. Selected sound or voice can continue, subject to browser permission and device settings.
You clear the active prompt.
The acknowledgement ends the active prompt and allows the timer to continue into its next state.
Clear boundaries
It records a response. Nothing more.
The distinction matters because an acknowledgement is a screen interaction, not proof of what happened away from the screen.

Browser and device behaviour
The prompt is persistent. Delivery can still vary.
Audio, notifications and background behaviour depend on browser permissions, device volume, operating-system settings and the way the browser handles inactive tabs.
Active prompt
The timer message remains part of the interface until you acknowledge it.
Sound or voice
Choose an available sound or male or female voice alert. Playback depends on browser permission and device volume.
Desktop notification
When permission is enabled, a browser notification can bring a timer event back into view. Behaviour varies by browser and device.
Important boundary
Acknowledgement is a visibility control, not proof of behaviour. It records that the active prompt was cleared; it does not verify what happened away from the screen.
